Fitness Minded was founded in 2017 with a simple goal in mind – improve the quality of life for our clients and the community around it. We are working hard to establish ourselves as the goal-to solution for your fitness goals.

Amber first began taking her physical health and fitness seriously during her days on the soccer field playing for her middle school and high school varsity teams.

Shaniera’s love for movement started young. At just 7 years old, she took to the floor as a competitive cheerleader, tumbling and lifting her way to victory. 

Jose’s fitness journey began while working as a correctional officer. That kind of work environment requires physical strength so Jose found himself in the gym when not at the correctional facility.
Jose’s fitness journey continued through his time spent working on Texas oil rigs, another physically demanding job. After his time in the oil industry ended, Jose decided to follow his dream of becoming a personal trainer. He had fallen in love with lifting and it was time he made it his career and not just his passion. Jose trained at Texas Family Fitness in Coppell, TX and within a year he had become one of top trainers. After finishing his training, he joined Lifetime Fitness in Allen, TX as a personal trainer before launching Fitness Minded in 2017.
Jose is ACE certified with over 7 years of personal training experience helping others to reach their own fitness dreams. Jose specializes in toning & weight loss, muscle gain, mobility & flexibility training, Boxing High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts, muscular imbalance correction for joint pain relief, and nutritional guidance.
Amber first began taking her physical health and fitness seriously during her days on the soccer field playing for her middle school and high school varsity teams.
When Amber entered college and soccer was traded in for academic studies, her physical health began to decline and she began to feel uncomfortable about her physique. So she got back in the gym, and in doing so Amber realized that fitness was her true passion, her career calling and she was ready to answer that call. Amber has been training ever since and loves helping others feel strong and confident in their bodies.
Amber is ACE certified and specializes in toning & weight loss, muscle gain, nutritional guidance, and glute development.

Marvin is a dedicated and compassionate personal trainer with a passion for transforming lives through fitness. From an early age, Marvin discovered his love for fitness while engaging in various physical activities during his high school years, including weightlifting, running track, and playing sports. It was during this time that he realized his innate desire to help others, and he recognized fitness as the perfect avenue to make a positive impact.

Marvin faced a life-altering challenge when he experienced a severe injury during his MMA career, resulting in a broken neck and temporary paralysis from the neck down. This setback, however, did not dampen his spirit. In fact, it fueled his determination to overcome adversity and reclaim control over his own physical well-being. Through sheer resilience and unwavering dedication, Marvin regained his mobility and emerged stronger than ever.

Today, Marvin firmly believes that taking charge of one’s fitness level is the key to embracing all that life has to offer. With his own transformative journey as inspiration, he is committed to guiding and supporting clients on their own paths to self-improvement. Whether it’s through customized training programs, expert guidance, or unwavering motivation, Marvin empowers individuals to seize control of their health and embrace a vibrant, fulfilling life.

Shaniera’s love for movement started young. At just 7 years old, she took to the floor as a competitive cheerleader, tumbling and lifting her way to victory. This passion for athletics continued throughout high school, where she juggled commitments on the volleyball, basketball, and track teams. But cheer leading remained her constant, pushing her to new heights (literally!) throughout college at Sam Houston University.

While at Sam Houston University, academics were incredibly important to Shaniera, earning her a degree in Mass Communications, while consistently making the dean’s list (spring 2013 to fall 2014) and even landed on the president’s list in fall 2013. Her hard work earned her a spot in the prestigious Golden Key Honor Society.

For nine years after graduation, Shaniera nurtured young minds as a kindergarten and second-grade teacher. However, the pull of fitness remained strong. In 2024, she decided to make a career shift and pursue her passion full-time, becoming a NASM-certified personal trainer. With her background in competitive cheer and a love for pushing limits, Shaniera specializes in strength training, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and group fitness classes. Her experience with weight loss and her own dedication to a healthy lifestyle make her a valuable asset for anyone looking to transform their bodies and their lives.
